New Lenox Commons Park is a 5 acre park in the heart of New Lenox, Illinois. The development of the park began in 1998 around the need for regional stormwater detention and the decision of the Village to relocate all of its public services. Surrounded by the village hall, police station, library and parks department, the Commons serves as a hub for the Villages services. Each of these buildings has access to the park through activity nodes that act as crosswalks.

During the six year development of New Lenox Commons Park, The Lannert Group led a series of design workshop meetings with the village, pavilion architect and contractors to decide on the program for the park. New Lenox Commons Park features a pergola and formal garden, fishing pier, access to a regional bike trail network, and a bandshell and amphitheater. Dedicated in 2004, the project was seen as a great success. Over 5,000 spectators were on hand to see the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra give the first concert in the new Pavilion as part of the Fourth of July festivities.
