The Lannert Group has over 15 years of experience and has prepared numerous plans and testimonials for landfill and transfer station sitings in Northern Illinois.  Working with the largest waste handling companies in the world, we have prepared over 25 SB-172 Land Use Compatibility studies and reports.  The reports address land use compatibility, the landfill's overall appearance, and the final end use.  With landfill projects, we create and evaluate photo-realistic images to determine the impact the landform may have on surrounding uses.  Wherever possible, we encourage softer and more natural landforms.

The Lannert Group has also been involved in numerous transfer station siting projects throughout the Chicago and Northern Illinois region.  We have provided land use compatibility reports, landscape plans to lessen the impact of the facility on adjacent land uses, and provide expert witness testimony.  Our clientele has ranged from Fortune 500 companies to smaller individual waste haulers.  Our strength in these types of projects lies not only in our experience and track record for approved sitings, but also in the degree of detail shown in our reports and exhibits prepared for public testimony.
