The Lannert Group developed this plan in conjunction with numerous civic and community organizations to establish a unified park and greenway system for St. Charles, Illinois.  The plan was developed through a public participation process that involved residents, students, and user groups in the community to formulate a vision for future expansion of park facilities.

Key development areas were identified and a network was planned to connect these areas.  This plan was recognized by the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association for its environmental integrity and innovative planning approach.
