Widely recognized for its open-space preservation and sustainability, Prairie Crossing represents an integrated system of residential development and agricultural production.
The Prairie Crossing plan incorporates 317 home sites within a 668 acre development. The land is gently rolling and devoted to primarily crop production. The Village Center creates a neighborhood with intimate streetscape and rear access to homes separating pedestrian from vehicular traffic.

Approximately 60% of the site is planned as open space to create and support the quality of the community. Preserved and sustainable elements of the environment include: 150 acres of agricultural lands and community gardens as well as 22 acres of lakes, wetlands, meadows and prairies linked by 15 miles of trails.

This project demonstrates The Lannert Group's award-winning excellence in planning and landscape architectural design.

The aerial view of Prairie Crossing illustrates the openspace, agriculture and housing types included in the community.

A variety of housing types and styles are found throughout Prairie Crossing.

Trails and openspace features are integrated into the plan.

A historic barn and school house were preserved and are now open for community use.
