One of Neuman Homes first projects Wesmere
is an exciting concept: a combination of recreational amenities and homes
clustered in small, friendly, loop-street neighborhoods. A central
boulevard winds through the community, providing access to and views of
the open space areas. In addition to the large central park/clubhouse
facilities, many of the neighborhoods have individual park sites to provide
a place for children to play without having to cross busy streets.
Wesmere's sales velocity led the region in number of homes sold, indicating
the desirability of the individualized sub-neighborhood concept.
The neighborhoods each
have one or more small park areas, like the tot lot shown in plan above,
and in the picture below.
